FAKULTAS KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS 18 Januari, 2019 Nama : NUTRADILLAH ALENDINA Nomor BP : 1711316027 Hubungan Dukungan Sosial Dengan Fungsi Kognitif Pada Lansia Di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tanjuang Paku Kota Solok 2018 ABSTRAK Penurunan fungsi kognitif merupakan suatu kondisi yang berjalan seiring dengan proses penuaan. Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi fungsi kognitif itu adalah dukungan sosial yaitu dukungan dari orang-orang disekitarnya seperti keluarga,teman, dan pelayanan kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain corelation. Metode pendekatan yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Waktu penelitian dari Bulan Agustus sampai Bulan Desember 2018. Analisa data menggunakan uji Spearman Rank. Penelitian ini menggunakan jumlah sampel 154 orang dengan teknik probability sampling. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa adanya hubungan yang signifikan dengan kekuatan sedang serta arah positif pada lansia (p=0,000). Hasil korelasi antara dukungan sosial dengan fungsi kognitif adalah kekuatan korelasi sedang dengan nilai signifikansi 0,590 (Interval Koefisien 0,40-0,599/ Hubungan Tingkat Sedang) dengan arah korelasi positif. Peneliti menyarankan agar lebih mengefektifkan lagi dalam mengadakan kegiatan lansia berupa senam otak atau kegiatan pengajian untuk meningkatkan fungsi kognitif lansia. One of the factors that can influence cognitive function is social support, which is the support of people around them such as family, friends, and health services. This study aims to determine the relationship of social support with cognitive function in elderly at working area of Tanjung Paku Comunity health center in Solok City. Type of this research is quantitative with corelation design. The approach method used was a cross sectional. Research time from August to December 2018. Analyze data using the Spearman Rank test. This study uses a sample of 154 people using probability sampling techniques. The results showed that there was a significant relationship with moderate strength and positive direction in the elderly (p = 0,000). The result of the correlation between social support and cognitive function is the strength of the medium correlation with a significance value of 0.590 (Coefficient Interval 0.40-0.599 / Moderate Relationship) with a positive correlation direction. Researchers suggest that more effective in conducting elderly activities in the form of brain gymnastics or religion activities to improve cognitive function in the elderly.
