Abstract
ABSTRAK Tujuan Laporan Dinkes selama 3 tahun terakhir selalu terdapat masalah gizi. Tahun 2016 status gizi kurus ialah 2,9 % dan gemuk 3,6 %. Permasalahan gizi dan sikap tentang gizi yang kurang baik pada anak sekolah dasar salah satunya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang gizi. Pendidikan gizi dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan gizi menggunakan media lembar balik dan permainan kwartet gizi terhadap pengetahuan gizi seimbang di SDN 03 Alai Kota Padang tahun 2018. Metode Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan rancangan pretest-posttest with control group. Populasi studi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN 03 Alai sebanyak 96 siswa. Data pengetahuan gizi seimbang diperoleh dengan alat ukur angket. Analisis data menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-Test, Wilcoxon, dan Kruskall Wallis. Hasil Analisis data menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan media lembar balik, permainan kwartet gizi maupun tanpa menggunakan media. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan perubahan pengetahuan siswa antara ketiga kelompok perlakuan (P<0,05). Kesimpulan Media permainan kwartet gizi (gain score 0,58) lebih efektif daripada media lembar balik (gain score 0,24) dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang gizi seimbang. Media ini bisa digunakan oleh pihak sekolah sebagai media baru dalam proses pembelajaran. The year 2016 skinny nutritional status was 2.9 % and 3.6 % fat. Nutrition problems and poor nutrition attitudes in elementary school children one of them is caused by lack of knowledge about nutrition. Nutrition education can be used to improve nutritional knowledge. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nutritional education using flip chart media and nutritional quartet game on students knowledge about balanced nutrition at SDN 03 Alai Padang City 2018. Method The type of research used is Quasi Experiment research with pretest-posttest with control group. The population of this study is a student of grade V SDN 03 Alai as many as 96 students. Data of knowledge of balanced nutrition was obtained by questioner. The data analysis used Paired Sample t-Test, Wilcoxon, and Kruskall Wallis. Result Data analysis shows an increase in knowledge and there is a significant difference between student’s knowledge before and after intervention using flip chart media , nutritional quartet game, or without media. There was a significant difference of students’ learning changes between the three treatment groups (P<0,05). Conclusion Nutritional Quartet Game (gain score 0,58) is more effective than flip chart media (gain score 0,24) in improving knowledge about balanced nutrition.
