ABSTRACT DESCRIPTION OF SECONDARY OSTEOARTHRITIS DUE TO REUMATOID ARTRITIS IN DR. M. DJAMIL HOSPITAL IN PADANG FROM 2016 TO 2020 By Pingki Ratnasari Secondary osteoarthritis due to rheumatoid arthritis is a type of secondary osteoarthritis characterized by clinical symptoms, especially complaints of severe pain related to joint damage due to chronic inflammation is caused by an autoimmune process. In addition, the number of cases of rheumatoid arthritis is also increasing every year. However, the data this type of osteoarthritis are still rare. Purpose this study is to describe secondary OA due to RA in Hospital Dr. M. Djamil Padang period 2016 -2020. This study used a descriptive method with a cross-sectional design which was conducted at the Medical Record of Dr. M. Djamil Padang in October 2020 - March 2021. The sampling technique was Total Sampling with a total of 26 samples. In this study, 35 cases of secondary osteoarthritis due to rheumatoid arthritis were found (15.11%). Most cases were in the age group ≥ 45 years (n = 17, 65.4%), more experienced by women (n = 25, 96.2%) with the most BMI measurement results in normal conditions (n = 16, 61.5%). Patients also found that the most recent education status was D3 or S1 (n = 14, 53.8%). Work as a housewife was mostly found (n = 9, 34.6%) with the most moderate pain scale (n = 13, 50.0%) and the predilection was mostly found in the knee joint (n = 14, 43.8%). Conclusion in this study is the number of cases 15.11%, with the age of ≥ 45, women, normal BMI, undergraduate degree, housewife, moderate pain and knee joints were the most found results based on research variables. ABSTRAK GAMBARAN OSTEOARTRITIS SEKUNDER AKIBAT ARTRITIS REUMATOID DI RSUP DR M DJAMIL PADANG PERIODE TAHUN 2016-2020 Oleh Pingki Ratnasari Osteoartritis sekunder akibat artritis reumatoid merupakan salah satu jenis osteoartritis sekunder yang ditandai gejala klinis terutama keluhan nyeri yang berat berkaitan dengan kerusakan sendi akibat inflamasi kronis disebabkan oleh proses autoimun. Selain itu, jumlah kasus artritis reumatoid juga semakin bertambah setiap tahun. Akan tetapi, data menganai osteoartritis jenis ini masih sangat terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran osteoartritis sekunder akibat artritis reumatoid di RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang periode tahun 2016 - 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan desain cross-sectional yang dilakukan di Rekam Medik RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang pada bulan Oktober 2020 – Maret 2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel adalah Total Sampling dengan jumlah total 26 sampel. Pada studi ini didapatkan jumlah kasus osteoartritis sekunder akibat artritis reumatoid sebanyak 35 penderita (15.11%). Kasus terbanyak pada kelompok umur ≥ 45 tahun (n=17, 65.4%), lebih banyak dialami oleh perempuan (n=25, 96.2%) dengan hasil pengukuran IMT paling banyak dalam keadaan normal (n=16, 61.5%). Pada penderita juga ditemukan status pendidikan terakhir paling banyak D3 atau S1 (n=14, 53.8%). Pekerjaan sebagai ibu rumah tangga paling banyak ditemukan (n=9, 34.6%) dengan skala nyeri terbanyak yaitu nyeri derajat sedang (n=13, 50.0%) dan predileksi paling banyak ditemukan pada sendi lutut (n=14, 43.8%). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah jumlah kasus 15.11%, dengan umur ≥ 45, perempuan, IMT normal, D3 atau S1, IRT, nyeri sedang dan sendi lutut merupakan hasil yang paling banyak ditemukan pada setiap variabel penelitian. Kata kunci: osteoartritis sekunder, artritis reumatoid.
