Abstract
A mother's role is to very large and not easy to live, besides being pregnant, giving birth and breastfeeding is also a big responsibility for a mother. Various problems can arise, one of which is not ready to be a parent is related to new experiences as a mother who is low in knowledge, too young, and does not have enough understanding about child feeding and development. At a young age can lead to physiological and psychological conditions that are not yet ripe to fully carry out the responsibilities as a mother. Behavioral changes tend to be more emotional, because there is a lot of pressure and there is no support for breastfeeding. Failure of breastfeeding resulting in a lack of infant nutritions. The purpose of writing this final scientific paper is to discuss nursing care of MRS. A (19 years) with ineffective breastfeeding problem in the area Of Lubuk Buaya Public Halth Center Padang. Nursing procedures are carried out starting from assesment, data analysis, making diagnoses, arranging interventions, implementing, applying evidence based nursing and the result is the increasing milk production, change in behavior, increase knowledge, the proper role of the parent, as well as evaluating. This report can be used as a guide in providing nursing care to mothers who experience problems in breastfeeding.
