Abstract

Depresi merupakan salah satu gangguan suasana perasaan (mood) yang mengarah kepada perasaan kesedihan patologis. Tujuan dari laporan ini untuk menggambarkan pelaksanaan asuhan keperawatan yang komprehensif terhadap lansia dengan masalah depresi. Pengumpulan data ilmiah laporan ini menggunakan metode studi kasus, sedangkan asuhan keperawatan yang diberikan menggunakan pendekatan proses keperawatan. Hasil akhir setelah diberikan implementasi pendidikan kesehatan dan terapi relaksasi Slow Stroke Back Massage terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang depresi serta terapi yang diberikan. Setelah di berikan terapi slow stroke back massage selama 7 hari secara berturut-turut terjadi penurunan skor GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale) dari 16 menjadi 13. Saran dari laporan ini agar bidang keperawatan dan pelayanan kesehatan di puskesmas bahwa terapi relaksasi Slow Stroke Back Massage dapat mengurangi dan menyelesaikan masalah depresi pada lansia. The purpose of this report is to describe the implementation of comprehensive nursing advice on the elderly with depression. Scientific data collection of this report uses a case study method, while nursing care is given using an approach nursing process. The final result after being given the implementation of the slow stroke back massage therapy there was a decrease in GDS (Geriatric Depression Scale) scores from 16 50 13. The recommendations of this report weere for the nursing and health service in the public health services that slow stroke back massage therapy could reduce and resolve depression problems in the elderly in the elderly Key word : elderly, depression, slow stroke back massage bibliography : 31 (2003-2017)
