Abstract

ABSTRACT Everyone can become a sexual offender without knowing age, status, education and position. Juvenile can also be sexual offender. The role of the family is the main influence on the development of juvenile in shaping behavior. This study aimed to describe father involvement and factors that give an impact of father involvement of juvenile sexual offender. This study uses a qualitative method of phenomenology with data collection techniques using interviews. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. The participants of this study were three people who were the fathers of juvenile sexual offender. The results of this study describe the lack of father involvement. Father doesn’t establish good communication with children in quantity or quality. Lack of time father and child have, and father's lack of effort to be fatherhood.
