Abstract
The purpose of this research to know the influence of human capital on labor income in the industrial sector in West Sumatra. The data used in this research is from the national socio-economic survey (SUSENAS), analytical tools used are Ordinary Least Square (OLS) and by using Eviews8 application. The dependent variable in this study is labor income in the industrial sector in West Sumatra and the independent variables are education, health, age and number of hours of work. The results of this research show that education, age, health and the number of hours of work has positive and significant effect on labor income in the industrial sector in West Sumatra. Key word: human capital, labor income, education, health, age and number of hours of work.
