Abstract

Tuberculosis remains a major health problem in Indonesia and in the world because of the incidence and mortality rate are still high, especially in developing countries. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis which mostly attack lungs. West Sumatra and Lubuk Alung Lung Hospital also have a high incidence of tuberculosis. This study aims to determine profile of smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis patients in Lubuk Alung Lung Hospital period 1 January 2015 - December 2015. This is a descriptive study by taking secondary data from medical records of patients with smear-positive pulmonary tuberculosis in Lubuk Alung Lung Hospital period 1 January 2015 – 31 December 2015. This study was conducted in the Medical Records Installation of Lubuk Alung Lung Hospital from June 2015 to May 2016. The sample in this study amounted to 953 samples that were obtained with total sampling. The result of study showed that most patients distribution present in the male sex (67,3%), age group 55-64 years (20,3%), and district of origin Padang Pariaman regency (32,8%). Respiratory and systemic complaint were most felt by patients respectively were cough (99,8%) and weight loss (80,2%). Only 21,9% of patients have comorbid disease with most type of comorbid disease is diabetes mellitus. Most (90,1%) patients had no history of anti-tuberculosis treatment so that the most type tuberculosis is new case (90,1%). The degree of sputum smear positivity mostly positive three (+++) as much as 53,4%. Keywords: profile, pulmonary tuberculosis, smear-positive   ABSTRAK PROFIL PENDERITA TUBERKULOSIS PARU BTA POSITIF DI RUMAH SAKIT PARU LUBUK ALUNG PERIODE 1 JANUARI 2015 – 31 DESEMBER 2015 Oleh Rahmat Ramadhan Tuberkulosis masih menjadi masalah kesehatan utama baik di Indonesia maupun di dunia karena angka insidensi dan kematiannya yang masih tinggi terutama di negara-negara berkembang. Tuberkulosis merupakan penyakit infeksi menular yang disebabkan oleh Mycobacterium tuberculosis yang kebanyakan menyerang paru. Sumatera Barat dan Rumah Sakit Paru Lubuk Alung juga memiliki insidensi tuberkulosis yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil penderita tuberkulosis paru BTA positif di Rumah Sakit Paru Lubuk Alung periode 1 Januari 2015 – 31 Desember 2015. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan mengambil data sekunder dari rekam medis pasien tuberkulosis paru BTA positif di Rumah Sakit Paru Lubuk Alung periode 1 Januari 2015 – 31 Desember 2015. Penelitian dilakukan di Instalasi Rekam Medis Rumah Sakit Paru Lubuk Alung pada bulan Juni 2015 sampai Mei 2016. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 953 sampel yang didapatkan dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi penderita terbanyak terdapat pada jenis kelamin laki-laki (67,3%), kelompok umur 55-64 tahun (20,3%), dan daerah asal Kabupaten Padang Pariaman (32,8%). Keluhan respirasi dan sistemik yang paling banyak dirasakan penderita berturut-turut adalah batuk (99,8%) dan badan makin kurus (80,2%). Hanya 21,9% penderita yang memiliki penyakit komorbid dengan jenis penyakit komorbid terbanyak adalah diabetes melitus (DM). Sebagian besar (90,1%) penderita tidak memiliki riwayat pengobatan OAT sehingga tipe penderita terbanyak adalah pasien baru (90,1%). Sedangkan derajat kepositifan BTA sputum terbanyak adalah positif tiga (+++) sebanyak 53,4%. Kata kunci: profil, tuberkulosis paru, BTA positif
