Abstract
Employees have an important role in realizing the company's vision and, goals. Employees who have work engagement, are able to provide good performance and show behavior to contribute to the success of the company. This study was conducted to see an overview of work engagement in Bank Syariah Indonesia employees in the main branch of Padang City. The method used in this study is a descriptive statistical analysis technique. The total sample in this study amounted to 83 employees at Bank Syariah Indonesia, the main branch of Padang City. Sample collection was carried out using a non-probability sampling technique used was saturated / total sampling. The measuring instrument used in this study was the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES). This measuring instrument has a reliability of 0.947. The results of this study show that most of the employees of Bank Syariah Indonesia in the main branch of Padang City have work engagement in the high category.
