Abstract
ANALYSIS OF LEADERSHIP INFLUENCE, RESOURCE ALLOCATION, AND EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF STRATEGY IMPLEMENTATION WITH ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT AS A MEDIATING VARIABLE: A STUDY AT PT SUCOFINDO BRANCH OFFICE PADANG Thesis by Ade Azis Kusnaya Advisor 1: Prof. Dr. Syukri Lukman, SE., MS Advisor 2: Dr. Syafrizal, SE., ME ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of leadership, resource allocation, and employee engagement on the effectiveness of strategic implementation with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The amount of sample is 52 employees with the sampling technique is saturated sampling method. The data used are primary data through a questionnaire containing respondents' answers. The collected questionnaires were then analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) with SPSS AMOS 23.0 software. Data quality test consisting of validity and reliability tests, then a model feasibility test is carried out based on the Goodness of Fit (Gof) value; then a hypothesis test was carried out with SEM techniques using AMOS software to test the effect of leadership, resource allocation, and employee engagement on the effectiveness of implementation with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. The results show that leadership has a direct insignificant effect on organizational commitment, resource allocation has a direct and insignificant effect on organizational commitment, employee engagement has a direct influence on organizational commitment, leadership has a direct influence on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, resource allocation has a direct influence on organizational commitment. not directly significant on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Employee engagement has a significant direct effect on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment has a significant direct effect on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment is unable to mediate the influence of leadership on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, Organizational commitment is unable to mediate the influence of resource allocation power on the effectiveness of strategy implementation, organizational commitment can mediate the effect of employee engagement on the effectiveness of strategy implementation. Sampel yang digunakan adalah berjumlah sebanyak 52 orang pegawai dengan teknik pengambilan sampel metode sampling jenuh. Data primer yang digunakan diperoleh melalui kuesioner yang berisi jawaban responden. Kuesioner yang telah terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis jalur Structural Equation Model (SEM) dengan programSPSS AMOS 23. Uji kualitas data yang terdiri dari uji validitas dan realibilitas, selanjutnya dilakukan uji kelayakan model berdasarkan nilai Goodness of Fit (Gof), kemudian dilakukan uji hipotesis dengan tehnik SEM dengan menggunakan software AMOS untuk menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan, alokasi sumber daya, dan keterikatan pegawai terhadap implementasi strategi dengan komitmen organisasi variabel mediasi pada perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kepemimpinan mempunyai pengaruh tidak signifikan secara langsung terhadap komitmen organisasi, Alokasi sumber daya mempunyai pengaruh langsung tidak signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, Keterikatan pegawai mempunyai pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasi, Kepemimpinan mempunyai pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Alokasi sumber daya mempunyai pengaruh langsung tidak signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Keterikatan pegawai mempunyai pengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Komitmenorganisasimempunyaipengaruh langsung signifikan terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Komitmen organisasi tidak mampumemediasi pengaruh kepemimpinan terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Komitmen organisasi tidak mampu memediasi pengaruh alokasi sumber dayaterhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi, Komitmen organisasi mampu memediasi pengaruh keterikatan pegawai terhadap efektivitas implementasi strategi.
