Abstract
This study aims to identify the use of positive politeness strategies in comments made by netizens based on context. The data were collected using observation methods and random sampling techniques, which involved gathering posts related to mental health, selecting comments that utilized positive politeness strategies, and organizing the data into a table that categorizes the comments and the politeness strategies used. In analyzing the data, the writer used Brown and Levinson's (1987) theory on positive politeness strategies, consisting of fifteen strategies.
