Abstract
This study aims to analyze “The Embodiment”, “Cursed Bunny”, and “Home Sweet Home” in the book Cursed Bunny by Bora Chung which show the exploitation of the working class in the capitalist economic system in South Korea through the characters' experiences. The research method used is a qualitative method in which the data and results are in the form of arguments. The analysis in this study is based on the theory of Marxist literary critics by Raymond Williams. The results of this study indicate that the characters of the three selected short stories in the book Cursed Bunny experience two types of exploitation, namely social exploitation found in "The Embodiment" and economic exploitation found in "Cursed Bunny" and "Home Sweet Home". This exploitation causes the working class to react negatively by taking a revenge on elite business owners, experiencing serious psychological damage that affects the physical, and facing massive material losses.
