Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian Permasalahan gizi dan sikap tentang gizi yang kurang baik pada anak sekolah dasar salah satunya disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengetahuan tentang gizi. Berbagai cara dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan gizi yaitu melalui pendidikan gizi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas pendidikan gizi menggunakan media booklet dan media komikterhadap pengetahuan gizi siswa tentang gizi seimbang di SDN 03 alai Kota Padang tahun 2018. Metode Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Quasi Experiment dengan rancangan Pretest-posttest with control group.populasi studi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN03 Alai sebanyak 90 orang siswa. Dan pengetahuan gizi seimbang diperoleh dengan alat ukur angket.Anlisis data menggunakan uji Paried Sampel t-test, Wilcoxon, Anova dan Kruskall Wallis. Hasil Analisis data menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi menggunakan media booklet, media komik, maupun tanpa media. Ada perbedaan yang signifikan perubahan pengetahuan siswa antara ketiga kelompok perlakuan (P<0.05) Kesimpulan Media booklet (gain score 0.04) lebih efektif daripada media komik (gain score 0.32) dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang gizi seimbang. Media ini bisa digunakan oleh pihak sekolah sebagai media baru dalam proses pembelajaran. Various ways can be done to improve nutrition knowledge, one of which is through nutrition education. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of nutritional education using media booklets and comic media on nutrition knowledge of students about balanced nutrition at SDN 03 Alai Padang City in 2018. . Method The type of research that used were Quasi Experiment research with Pretest-posttest with control group design. The population of this study were a student of grade IV SDN 03 Alai as many as 90 students. A balanced nutrition regimen obtained by means of a questionnaire. The data analysis used Paried Samples test t-test, Wilcoxon, Anova and Kruskall Wallis. Result Data analysis shows enhancement in knowledge and there was a significant difference between student's knowledge before and after intervention using media booklet, comic media, or without media. There was a significant difference of students' learning changes between the three treatment groups (p <0.05). Conclution Media booklet (gain score 0.04) is more effective than comic media (gain score 0.32) in improving students' knowledge about balanced nutrition.
