Abstract

This researchaims to produce anestimateorestimatesof therate of returnthatwould bereceived byan individualbased on the levelof high school education (SMA), Vocational (SMK), Diploma (D-III), andBachelor (S-1). This study usessecondary data isthe raw databasedSUSENAS2015, the method usedis therate of returnschoolingmodels, methodsthat have been askedbyjacobmincertoestimatethe rate of returnreceived byan individualby education levellived.From the results ofthis studyare knownfactors thataffect theincome of individualsin addition to educationisgender and location. Based on thetotalsample, the rate of returnof workerswho had completedgeneral secondary education(30.3%) higher thanvocational highschool graduates(25.8%). Workerswitha college degree(68.2%) had arate of returngreater than theindividualeducation levelbelow it. Based ongender differences, workershavemale genderobtainindividualrate of returngreaterthan thefemale workers. Based on theclassification ofthe area(location), the return on investmentof individualsin urban areasis greaterthanworkersin ruralareas,the return on investment of individuals in using technology with Internet Café is greater than using Hand Phone.
