Abstract

Loneliness on the client resulting in a reduction of schizophrenia quality of life so that it can lead to depression, not happy thus affecting the high score indicating a negative perception. The loneliness caused by the negative social perception of self, can affect the level of loneliness and the readiness of clients in following intervention for his recovery.This research aims to look at the relationship of self-perception, and families with social loneliness on clients of schizophrenia. Type of this research is a descriptive cross sectional approach correlative study, conducted from May 2016 to January 2017. The samples on this research as much as 140 clients schizophrenia, taken with purposive sampling technique. The research results obtained, the value of the mean lonely 52.46 and negative self-perception 77.1%, the negative social perception 80,0%, negative family perception 90,0%. The results of statistical tests test spearman retrieved value p = 0.000 and r = 0.353 relationships with self-perception of loneliness, r = 0.331 the social perception of the relationship with the lonely, r = 0.361 the negative perception of the relationship with the lonely. There is a significant relationship between self perception, social relationships and family with lonely clients with schizophrenia direction is positive and have a weak, meaning that the more negative perception of self, family and clients social schizophrenia the higher level of the client's loneliness schizophrenia. Psychiatric hospitals need to develop health promotion in the community, cognitive therapy and social skills in order to create a positive perception of the client against schizophrenia. In addition the family should be able to provide support to family members of schizophrenia.
