PROGRAM PASCASARJANA FAKULTAS ILMU KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS Tesis, November 2016 Dia Resti Dewi Nanda Demur Hubungan Beban Kerja Dan Motivasi Dengan Perilaku Caring Perawat Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi viii+ 134 halaman + 20 tabel + 2 skema + 10 lampiran ABSTRAK Keberhasilan rumah sakit dalam memberikan pelayanan kesehatan dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah pelayanan keperawatan yang merupakan ujung tombak pelayanan kesehatan di rumah sakit. Salah satu bentuk pelayanan keperawatan adalah perilaku caring perawat yang merupakan inti dalam praktek keperawatan professional. Sehubungan dengan hal tersebut, maka dirasa perlu melakukan penelitian tentang perilaku caring perawat.Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan beban kerja dan motivasi dengan perilaku caring perawat di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi Yarsi Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis deskriptif analitik dengan mengunakan pendekatan cross sectional yang melibatkan 80 perawat di ruang rawat inap RS Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian berupa kuesioner dan observasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa perawat yang berperilaku caring kurang baik sebanyak (53,8%). Beban kerja lebih dari standard waktu optimum produktif (80%) terutama pada shift pagi (99,03%) diikuti shift sore (97,37%) dan shift malam (78,73%). Perawat yang memiliki motivasi tinggi untuk menerapkan perilaku caring sebanyak (57,5%). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa beban kerja mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku caring (p=0,002) dan motivasi mempunyai hubungan yang signifikan dengan perilaku caring (p=0,018) dan beban kerja merupakan faktor yang paling berpengaruh terhadap perilaku caring. Disarankan bagi bidang keperawatan perlu dipertimbangkan pengelolaan tenaga perawat agar beban kerja perawat menjadi lebih seimbang. The aim of this study to determine relationships between wprkload and motivations with caring applications in wards at hospital Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi West Sumatera. The research was a descriptive correlation study with cross sectional approach. The samples were 80 staff nurses in Wards At Islam Ibnu Sina Bukittinggi Yarsi Hospital West Sumatera. The research instrument were a questionnaire and an observation sheet. Based on the analysis we found that more than half of the nurses caring behavior (53.8%) including unfavorable category. Meanwhile, the work load more than productive optimum standart (80%): the workload of day shift nurses was higher (99,03%) than evening shift (97,37%) and night shift (78,73%). More than half (57.5%) nurses motivation in the implementation caring behavior were high . The conclusions of this study the nursing workload have significant relationship with applications (p=0,002) and motivation have significant relationship with application (p=0,018) and workload was dominant variable for caring applications. So for nurses manager had to seek factor that affected to workload nurse that’s can increases motivations the nurse for application the caring.
