Abstract

This research investigated about the impact of sel-regulated learning strategies on academic achievement of college student by using emotional intelligence as mediator with study of international program and reguler program in Andalas University. The data obtained through questionnaire. The samples were drawn from 275 students. The data analyzed by using SmartPLS 2.0. In this research there are 3 variables; those are independent variable which is self-regulated learning strategies, and the dependent variable which is academic achievement and mediating variable which is emotional intelligence. The findings indicated that for international program, self-regulated learning strategies and emotional intelligence have a significat impact on academic achievement. Emotional intelligence has no significant impact as a mediator. For reguler program, self-regulated learning strategies and emotional intelligence have no significant impact on academic achievement and emotional intelligence has no significant impact as a mediator.
