Abstract

Startups are very familiar in today's digital business era. One of the growing startups in Indonesia is Go-Jek. Go-Jek is one of the startups engaged in services trading, specifically on the on-demand multi-service platform and digital payment technology group. Based on a survey conducted on 35 Go-Jek consumers, it can be said that Go-Food is the most widely used service by Go-Jek consumers, with a percentage of 49%. Several complaints were found from the drivers and consumers during the delivery service process. Complaints experienced by drivers are spilled food and drinks, difficulty loading cargo, discomfort in driving a vehicle, and inability to maintain the temperature of food and drinks in the delivery process. Complaints that the consumer serves are spilled food and drinks received, the temperature of food and drinks cannot be maintained, and the duration of food and beverage delivery is long. Based on these complaints, it can be concluded that a medium for storing goods is needed in the food and beverage delivery process by the driver's needs. This research uses the Product Design Development Phase referenced by Ulrich combined with the QFD method and the Morphological Chart. This study aims to produce a product design for food and beverage storage media for Go-Jek Drivers. This storage media has a capacity of 36 liters, can accommodate up to 10 Styrofoam lunch boxes, and has 4 rubber supports for drinks. This storage media product design is proven to solve the problems experienced by drivers. This can be achieved because this storage medium is made of an outer material, namely baby ripstop, waterproof, and an insulation layer, namely foam aluminum foil, to maintain temperature. This storage media is also equipped with a rubber drink holder feature to avoid drink spills, a chest buckle that makes the rider comfortable when carrying storage media, and Velcro to tighten the folds.
