Abstract

This study will discuss the issue of race in the American novel entitled The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This study focuses on the racial problems experienced by Asian Americans using the Critical Race Theory. Specifically, this study focuses on racial justice for Asian Americans. This study will discuss the issue of racial discrimination experienced by Asian Americans while living in the United States. This study discovers how Asian Americans react to racial discrimination and how they respond to it. This study also discovers how Dashner portrays the characteristics of Asian Americans into his Asian characters in The Maze Runner and relates it to current life.
