Abstract
Poverty reduction has became an important thing for every country to improve the welfare of the people by using the economic approach. It focuses to peoples' well-being, especially for the hunger and poverty, democratic governance, crisis mitigation, environment and energy preservation for sustainable development. Financial inclusion has been considered as one way of the economic approach by which people’s capability can be enhanced. As we know that having access to finance is an important macroeconomic requirement for economic growth as it leads to higher investment and income, empowers households and free them from poverty circles (Solo 2008). Therefore, the financial inclusion program is an important strategy to reduce poverty and vulnerability. Not only for the poor people, but also including people from all strata into the mainstream banking system. Financial inclusion will help to raise capacity for investment, develop saving and entrepreneurial abilities which lead to higher incomes and consequently better lives
