Abstract

This study aims to see the effect of phytase supplementation of P deficiency in the ration of the content of ash, phosphorus, and calcium tibia of broiler chickens. Research hypothesis is phytase supplementation in the ration P deficiency can increase the content of ash, phosphorus and calcium tibia of broiler chickens. This study is a research experiment in the laboratory and the design used in this study was Complete Randomized Design (CRD) with five ration treatments. The fifth treatment ration is A = control diet, P according to the needs of his ration deficient B = C = P and P deficient ration supplemented phytase, commercial ration D = 511, and E = 511 commercial ration supplemented phytase, respectively - each with four replications . Animals used were 100 chickens Strain Loghman study was conducted at the Laboratory of Non-Ruminant Nutrition and poultry cage experiments UPT Padang Andalas University Faculty of Animal Husbandry. These results indicate that the addition of phytase to the ration of P deficiency influenced not differ significantly (P> 0.05) to the ash content, while the content of Ca and P show the influence of different highly significant (P <0.01) respectively - each for 16, 49% and 0.87%. Keyword: phytase, P deficiency, tibia, ash, calcium and phosphorus as well as broiler
