Abstract

This thesis aimed to know how operational audit applied and to know how much operational audit role in imporving the efectiveness of Credit Activity in Main Branch of Bank Nagari Padang. This Thesis used a case study approach with a descriptive method that describes how much operational audits role in improving efectiveness in Credit or Loan Activity in Bank Nagari. The Data used primary data from the results of questionnaire which has been distributed to internal auditors and credit staffs using likert scale and secondary data from organizational structure, operasional company standards, and Position and Credit Quality from 2011-2013 from Credit Division Bank Nagari. The result of this research showed that the implementation of operational audit in Bank Nagari has well-adequate which has followed the minimum standards sets by Bank Indonesia which is adapted to the scope of the Bank sector. Operational Audit influences about 89,17% in improving efectiveness of Credit or Loan Acitivity in Bank Nagari based on questionnaires that researcher analysis.
