Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian Diabetes Mellitus (DM) merupakan kelompok penyakit metabolik dengan karakteristik hiperglikemia yang terjadi karena kelainan insulin yang apabila tidak terkontrol dapat menyerang organ tubuh lainnya. DM Tipe II dapat disebabkan oleh asupan karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak yang berlebih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan asupan gizi makro dengan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien DM Tipe II di Poliklinik Penyakit Dalam RSUD dr. Rasidin Padang tahun 2019. Metode Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional dengan variabel dependen kadar glukosa darah dan variabel independen asupan gizi makro. Sampel berjumlah 42 orang yang diambil dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diolah menggunakan Nutrisurvey 2007 untuk Recall dan Microsoft Excel untuk SQ-FFQ, yang kemudian dianalisis secara statistik menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 76,2% kadar glukosa darah puasa responden termasuk dalam kategori tidak terkendali. Sebagian besar responden memiliki asupan karbohidrat (71,4%) dan protein (76,2%) sesuai anjuran, lemak (78,6%) dan serat (97,6%) tidak sesuai anjuran, dengan beban glikemik tinggi (64,3%), indeks glikemik rendah (54,8%), jenis makanan tidak baik (73,8%), dan tidak tepat jadwal (97,6%). Hasil uji bivariat dari semua variabel gizi hanya asupan lemak yang berhubungan dengan kadar glukosa darah (p – value 0,023). Kesimpulan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan antara asupan lemak dengan kadar glukosa darah. DM Type II can caused by an excessive intake of macronutrition. This research aims to find out the relationship between macronutrition intake and blood glucose level on DM Type II patient in Polyclinic of Internal Disease dr. Rasidin Padang Hospital 2019. Methods This research was a quantitative research using Cross Sectional approach with the dependent variable of blood glucose level and independent variable of macronutrition intake. There were 42 respondents which collected by using Nutrisurvey 2007 for Recall, and Microsoft Excel for SQ-FFQ. Data was analyzed by Chi-square test. Results Based on the result of research, there were 76,2% respondents in uncontrollable blood glucose level category. Most respondents had an adequate amounts of carbohydrate (71,4%) and protein intake (76,2%), excess fat intake (78,6%), and less fiber intake (97,6%) with high glycemic load (64,3%), low glycemic index (54,8%), incorrect type of food (73,8%), and incorrect schedule of meals (97,6%). The result of the bivariate analysis showed that fat intake is the only variable that had relationship with glucose blood level (p – value 0,023). Conclusion The result of the research showed that there was a relationship between fat intake and blood glucose level.
