Abstract

his research examines the effect of work discipline and work motivation on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 2 Padang. Data were obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to the faculty members. The study found that work motivation has a significant and positive influence on teacher performance, indicating that teachers at this school possess high motivation to achieve organizational goals. Conversely, work discipline as an independent variable was found to have no significant impact on increasing teacher performance in this specific context. Therefore, SMK Negeri 2 Padang should maintain and enhance its motivation systems and incentive programs to further improve and sustain high levels of teacher performance.
