Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effect of Non Performing Loan, Earning Assets Quality, and Loan to Deposit Ratio on profitability. Non performing credit is represented by Non Performing Loan, the quality of earning assets is compared by the classification assets to total of productive assets, liquidity is represent by Loan to Deposit Ratio, and Profitability is represented by Return on Assets. Populations of this research are commercial bank in Indonesia during 2007 until 2010. This research is used multiple regression as analysis model. The result of this research indicates that Non Performing Loan, Earning Assets Quality, and Liquidityjointly have significant influence on Return on Assets. The other results are Non Performing Loan has negative and not sipiificant influence on ROA, Earning Assets Quality has negative and not significant influence on ROA, andLon to Deposit Ratio has negative and significant influence on ROA.
