Abstract

Delsye M. Asmarani. 0810832109. The title of this final paper is the leadership type of Wali Nagari (Case Study: Simarasok village Baso District sub-district, Agam district). Political Science department, Social and Political Sciences Faculty, Andalas University, Padang. This final paper are gueded by by Tengku Rika Valentina S.IP, MA as Supervisor 1 and Andri Rusta, S.IP, MPP as Supervisor 2. The study consisted of 103 pages, 14 books, 2 Thesis, 1 Journal and 3 Internet Site. The purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the type of leadership in the delivery of government wali nagari villages in Nagari Simarasok case studies, where the Nagari Simarasok elected as the best villages of the National Level In 2011 when former villages have not been in the race villages both at district and national level as not meet the new criteria and entry criteria for the first time and then made achievements. At the time of the leadership of the Muslim wali nagari named Dt Payuang Diaceh able to bring these villages get honors, and able to develop innovative and breakthrough in the area of lead. Muslim's inability to approach the community so involved participation of the community in the activities and programs that exist. In terms of analyzing the type of Muslim leadership Dt. Payuang Diaceh as Wali Nagari Simarasok in governance, researchers use the theory advanced by Sondang P. Siagian five general types namely the type of leadership is autocratic, paternalistic, charismatic, laissez faire, or democratic leadership has an influence on the success of the organization in organizing his administration.In this study, researchers used qualitative methods with descriptive type. Kind of research is a single case study. Data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation, while for the validity of the data, researchers conducted tests triangulation of data sources. The selection of informants by purposive sampling method. The results stated that the type of leadership that is owned by a Muslim Dt Payuang Diaceh of 5 types of leadership adopted a more dominant leadership of the kind of democracy, because each activity to be undertaken wali nagari always involve all parties in order to reach a joint decision.
