This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method through SmartPLS 3.0 to test the proposed hypotheses. Data were collected from 221 active students at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Andalas. The results indicate that entrepreneurship education has a positive influence on entrepreneurial intention, as well as a positive influence on self-efficacy, which in turn enhances entrepreneurial intention. However, institutional support does not significantly influence entrepreneurial intention or self-efficacy, indicating that institutional support alone is insufficient to enhance students' entrepreneurial intention. Additionally, this study confirms that self-efficacy mediates the influence of entrepreneurship education on entrepreneurial intention, emphasizing the importance of fostering students' self-confidence through education. This study contributes to the understanding of the factors influencing students' entrepreneurial decisions and highlights the importance of a more comprehensive approach in entrepreneurship education and institutional support in higher education. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) melalui SmartPLS 3.0 untuk menguji hipotesis-hipotesis yang diajukan. Data dikumpulkan dari 221 responden mahasiswa aktif Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Andalas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kewirausahaan berpengaruh positif terhadap niat berwirausaha, serta berpengaruh positif terhadap efikasi diri yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan niat berwirausaha. Namun, dukungan institusional tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap niat berwirausaha maupun efikasi diri, menunjukkan bahwa dukungan institusional saja tidak cukup untuk meningkatkan niat berwirausaha mahasiswa. Selain itu, penelitian ini mengonfirmasi bahwa efikasi diri memediasi pengaruh pendidikan kewirausahaan terhadap niat berwirausaha, menekankan pentingnya pembentukan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa melalui pendidikan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi terhadap pemahaman faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keputusan kewirausahaan mahasiswa dan menyoroti pentingnya pendekatan yang lebih komprehensif dalam pendidikan kewirausahaan dan dukungan institusional di perguruan tinggi.
