Abstract

PENGARUH KOMPETENSI DAN INOVASI PRODUK TERHADAP KINERJA USAHA MIKROKERAJINAN SULAMAN DI KOTA PARIAMAN DENGAN ORIENTASI KEWIRAUSAHAAN SEBAGAI VARIABEL MEDIASI ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis pengaruh kompetensi dan inovasi produk dengan orientasi kewirausahaan sebagai variabel mediasi terhadap kinerja usaha mikro kerajinan sulaman di Kota Pariaman.Kinerja merupakan hal penting yang harus diperhatikan bagi pelaku usaha.Aspek yang mempengaruhi kinerja adalah kompetensi sumber daya manusia, inovasi produk, dan orientasi kewirausahaan.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pelaku usaha kerajinan sulama di Kota Pariaman dengan sampel sebanyak 100.Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Smart PLS 4 yang berguna untuk mencari adanya pengaruh antar variabel dengan mediasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja , inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, kompetensi tidak berpengaruh terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan, inovasi produk berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap orientasi kewirausahaan, orientasi kewirausahaan berpengaruh postif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja, tidak ada pengaruh signifikan dari efek mediasi orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kompetensi dan kinerja, adanya pengaruh yang signifikan dari efek mediasi orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap inovasi produk dan kinerja. Kata Kunci :Kompetensi, inovasi produk, orientasi kewirausahaan, Kinerja vii THE INFLUENCE OF COMPETENCE AND PRODUCT INNOVATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF MICRO-ENTERPRISES IN EMBROIDERY HANDICRAFTS IN PARIAMAN CITY WITH ENTREPRENEURIAL ORIENTATION AS A MEDIATING VARIABLE ABSTRACT This study aims to examine and analyze the influence of competence and product innovation on the performance of embroidery micro-enterprises in Pariaman City, with entrepreneurial orientation as a mediating variable. Performance is an essential aspect that must be considered by business actors. The factors that influence performance include human resource competence, product innovation, and entrepreneurial orientation. The population of this research consists of embroidery craft entrepreneurs in Pariaman City, with a sample of 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Smart PLS 4, which is employed to test the relationships among variables with mediation effects. The findings indicate that competence has no significant effect on performance, while product innovation has a positive and significant effect on performance. Competence has no significant effect on entrepreneurial orientation, whereas product innovation positively and significantly affects entrepreneurial orientation. Furthermore, entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant effect on performance. The mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation between competence and performance is not significant, while the mediating effect of entrepreneurial orientation between product innovation and performance is significant.
