Abstract

The research about utilization of Absorption Of Natural Zeolit Clipnotilolite-Ca Acid Activated HCl For Cd(II), Cu(II) and Pb(II) has been investigated. The objective this research was to use natural zeolite as adsorbent material. XRD measurements showed that natural zeolite were used, including the type of Clipnotilolit-Ca with monoclinic crystal system. The parameters used are the effect of variations in activation, the particle size of the adsorbent, the adsorbent mass, contact time, the volume of the metal ion solution, the initial concentration of the solution, and the pH of the solution. These parameters were studied to determine the optimum conditions in the adsorption process. The absorption result showed that the best condition on the absorbstion of acid activation obtained by the concentration of HCl 0,1 M Cu (II) for ion, HCl 0,2 M for Pb(II) and HCl 0,3 M for Cd(II), a particle size of 125 μm, 0.1 gram of adsorbent mass, contact time of 40 minutes for Cd (II) and Cu (II), while Pb (II) for 10 min, 12.5 mL volume of the solution, the concentration of the metal solution 40 mg / L and at pH=7. The absorption capacity in optimum condition for ion Cd (II), Cu (II) and Pb (II) respectively is 3.8275 mg/g, 4.695 mg/g and 4.933 mg/g. SEM characterization showed that the morphology of the surface of the zeolite has a homogeneous pore. FTIR characterization test to produce a peak absorption at a wave number 1039.27 cm-1 which shows the asymmetric stretching vibration of Si-O or Al-O in TO4 (T = Si or Al).
