Abstract

This study aims to identify the causes of risk, analyze and measure the level of risk causes and describe the risk management of hydroponic pak choi production at Binara Hydroponic and Arif Hydrofarm. The method used in this research is descriptive method with case study approach. The results showed that in hydroponic pak choi farming activities there were 16 causes of risk at Binara Hydroponic and 25 causes of risk at Arif Hydrofarm which were identified using a fishbone diagram. Based on the analysis and measurement of the level of production risk causes using the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) method and pareto diagrams, there are 7 causes of risk in Binara Hydroponic and 11 causes of risk in Arif Hydrofarm which are classified as critical and prioritized for control, including in binara hydroponic, aphids (RPN 100), spidermites (RPN 80), leaf caterpillars (RPN 75), root rot disease (RPN 24), pakcoy leaves burned (RPN 20) moss on rockwool (RPN 20), and pak choi being damaged (RPN 20). While at Arif Hidrofarm, the flow of nutrients stopped (RPN 100), aphids (RPN 100), spidermites (RPN 100), moss on rockwool (RPN 80), moss in the main installation (RPN 80), delays in the arrival of AB mix nutrients (RPN 64), leafworms (RPN 45), lack of orders (RPN 40), moss on the rejuvenation rack (RPN 30), root rot (RPN 24), and seeds too long in the flannel (RPN 20). The production risk management strategies formulated in this study consist of preventive strategies and mitigation strategies Keywords: Farmers, FMEA, Hydroponics, Pak Choi, Risk Production
