Abstract

The aim of this research is to know how literacy of financial technology (fintech) and its implementation in Bukittinggi. This research used primary data that is collected by survey through interview and questionnaire. The analysis method used in this research is crosstabulation analysis. Based on analysis data, there are three types of respondents. First, 52 percent of respondents know and use fintech. Second, 29 percent of respondents know fintech but do not use fintech. Third, 19 percent of respondents do not know and do not use fintech. Moreover, The implementation of fintech in Bukittinggi can be seen from how many people use fintech. According to result, there are 52 percent of respondents use payment product. In other sector such as lending product, financial planner, and crowdfunding, there is less or no one people use lending, financial planner, and crowdfunding product.
