Abstract

The Effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Organizational Commitment, Employee Engagement, and Employee Performance at Pt. Pln (Persero) Up3 Bukittinggi Avin Aferi1, Harif Amali Rivai2, Hendra Lukito3 1Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Andalas University, Padang-Indonesia 2,3Lecturer in the Master of Management Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Andalas University, Padang-Indonesia ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of Transformational Leadership Style on Organizational Commitment, Employee Engagement, and Employee Performance at PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi. This type of research is quantitative research. The population is in the form of employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi with 53 employees. The characteristics used are employees of PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi (Non Managerial) who is a permanent employee and has worked for at least 1 year at the company, assuming the employee has work experience with company leaders so that it will make it easier to get valid research results. The sample used according to these characteristics is 53 samples. Data collection uses questionnaires distributed to respondents. Methods of data analysis using SM-PLS. The results showed that transformational leadership style had a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, transformational leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee engagement and transformational leadership style had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi berupa karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi dengan jumlah karyawan 53 orang. Ciri-ciri yang digunakan adalah karyawan PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Bukittinggi (Non Managerial) yang merupakan pegawai tetap dan telah bekerja minimal 1 tahun di perusahaan, dengan asumsi pegawai tersebut memiliki pengalaman kerja dengan pimpinan perusahaan sehingga akan memudahkan untuk mendapatkan hasil penelitian yang valid. Sampel yang digunakan menurut karakteristik tersebut adalah 53 sampel. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan SM-PLS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap komitmen organisasional, gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement dan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kata kunci: Gaya Kepemimpinan Transformasional, Komitmen Organisasi, Keterikatan Karyawan, Kinerja Karyawan
