Abstract

This purpose research to examine the effect of awareness of taxpayers on taxpayer compliance in South Solok districts. In this study, there is one independent variable is the awareness that the taxpayer and one dependent variable is taxpayer compliance. Collecting data in this research using questionnaires distributed to 120 individual taxpayer civil servants (PNS) class III and class IV in South Solok districts. Of the 120 questionnaires distributed only as much as 97 questionnaires that can be collected and can be generated. The data collected were processed using SPSS 0.16 for windows. The results of this study stated that the awareness of the taxpayer does not have a significant effect on tax compliance in paying their tax obligations in South Solok districts.
