Abstract
Padang is a region in Indonesia that has in danger of earthquake disaster. It is caused by geographic side. Padang is confined by Lautan Hindia, it is possible for happening tectonic earthquake by lempeng Hindia-Australia and Eurasia which located 200 km from seaside of Padang. Now, Padang has a storage place for aids in BPBD, but it is not efficiently and effectively functioned because it does not have enough inventory of aids. If there is a disaster, so aids distribution only happened after getting aids from others. It will make people and government busy and panic. Planning and management inventory of aids are important for Padang to do. This research will explain the planning and management inventory by using Hungarian Inventory Control Model. It is used for determining how many aids can be saved with minimum cost in BPBD. Based on the calculation, the first decision variables, the warehouse capacitiy for each item, 124 packets of family kit, 166 units of tend, 451 packets of baby kit, 577 packets of drinking water, 105 packets of blanket, and 172 packets of hygiene kit. And the second optimal decision variables, number of each item, 124 packets of family kit, 113 units of tend, 451 packets of baby kit, 577 packets of drinking water, 105 packets of blanket, and 172 packets of hygiene kit. with optimal cost is Rp 123.322.100,00.
