Abstract

This study purpose to know how the level of effectiveness and efficiency of the advertisement tax collection in Padang and Pekanbaru during 2009-2013. Data used was secondary data obtained from government offices. The result of this research show that level of advertisement tax collection in Padang more effective than Pekanbaru with comparison 91,89% and 79,39%. However, level of efficiency advertisement tax collection in Padang as efficient as in Pekanbaru, they are 24,23% and 17,08%. Key Words : advertisement tax, effectiveness, efficiency
