Abstract

From 33 provinces and 471 districts/cities in indonesia, only about 10 percent which have a formal delimitation, one of them is West Sumatera Province which has 12 districts and 7 cities. West Sumatera Province has an income sources and the abundant natural wealth in each area, including bukittinggi city. Therefore, aims of this study are to proof empirically the influence of Regionally Original Income (PAD) and General Allocation Fund (DAU) on the Regional Expense in Bukittinggi. This study uses secondary data with source is from the Realization Report of the Estimate Income of Regional Expense (APBD) from 2005 until 2014. Method of the sample uses census method by taking the entire population. And the instrument that used result is a multiple regression model. Result of this study in partially indicates PAD doesn’t have a significant impact on regional expense, and DAU have a significant impact on regional expense allocations. and in simultaneous it shows that PAD and DAU have a significant impact on regional expense allocations. Furthermore, the dependence level on rgional expense allocation is more dominant Regionally Original Income (PAD) than General Allocation Fund (DAU).
