Abstract
The study about morphological analysis of sycona and identification insect visitors of rheophytic Fig (Ficus Racemosa L.) in limau manis, padang, West Sumatra have been carried out from February to December 2021 in the Laboratory of Plant Systematics and Taxonomy of Invertebrates, Biology Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Andalas University. The purpose of this study were to characterize the morphological syconium of the rheophytic Fig. This study used survey methods, the samples were collected at their habitats the edge of Limau Manis river, and morphological assessment of siconia and insect identification were conducted Herbarium ANDA and Taxonomy Invertebrata Laboratory. The results showed that the characteristic of inflorescence of reophytic Fig was syconium-racemose (combination of syconium and racemose). The syconia of reophytic Fig were visited by four species of insects namely: Coccinella sp., Dolichoderus bituberculatus, and Pleistodontes sp.) and Ceratosolen fusciceps, and the last one was suggested as its pollinator of Ficus racemosa.
