Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on health and the economy in various countries, including Indonesia. Therefore, the government calls on social distancing, self-quarantine and calls to work from home. It can even be the implementation of a lockdown by the Government (PSBB) which has a dramatic impact on the welfare of many families and communities which causes a decrease in income. This is a problem that is quite complicated for developing countries such as Indonesia where the problem is still large and increasingly complex. The purpose of this study was to determine the Impact of Covid-19 PSBB on income in the City of Padang: The Case of Parak Kopi RT 02 Residents in the Covid-19 PSBB. This research method is descriptive quantitative analysis research. The sampling technique used with a sample of 35 households of Parak Kopi RT 02. Data collection used questionnaires and primary data obtained directly in the form of interviews. Using the T test and crosstabulation analysis. The results showed that more than half of the respondents experienced a decrease in income during the pandemic (68.6%), less than half of the respondents had debt during the pandemic (34.3%), more than half of the respondents received assistance from neighbors (57.1%), Most of the respondents received social assistance from the government in the form of cash (77.1%), There was a relationship between the differences in income of the residents of Parak Kopi RT 02 before and when PSBB covid-19 (sig. (2-tailed) 0,000), There was a relationship between differences Expenditures for residents of Parak Kopi RT 02 before and during PSBB covid-19 (sig. (2-tailed) 0,000), There is a relationship between work, debt, neighbor assistance and social assistance for residents of Parak Kopi RT 02 during PSBB covid-19 (sig. 2-tailed) 0,000).
