Abstract

ABSTRACT THE RELATION BETWEEN PROFILE AND RATIO OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL/ HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN, TRIGLYCERIDE/ HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN, AND LOW DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN/ HIGH DENSITY LIPOPROTEIN ON VESSEL DISEASE IN CORONARY HEART DISEASE PATIENTS By Nur Faydotus Salsabila Coronary heart disease is a disease that involves atherosclerosis in the coronary arteries in the heart. This incident is caused by various factors, including the profile and lipid ratio that play a role in atherosclerotic plaque formation. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the profile and the ratio of total cholesterol/ high density lipoprotein, triglycerides/ high density lipoprotein, and low density lipoprotein/ high density lipoprotein on vessel disease and to determine the closeness of the relationship. This type of research is analytic observation with a retrospective design. The sample of this study was from secondary data (medical records) at RSUP Dr. M. Djamil Padang for the period January 2019-September 2020 with a sample size of 418. Sampling was done by total sampling technique based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data was analyzed using the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that the majority of patients had total cholesterol levels <200 mg/ dL (76.1%), LDL <130 mg/ dL (70.3%), HDL 35-45 mg/ dL (46.4%), triglycerides <150 mg/ dL, three vessel disease (38.7%), and LMCA were not affected (93.6%). The results of the lipid profile bivariate analysis showed the value of p=0.013 and r=0.121 for LDL with vessel disease and the value of p=0.001 and r=0.169 for triglycerides with vessel disease so that there is a very significant relationship with the closeness of the relationship is very weak, while for total cholesterol with vessels disease, the value of p=0.104 and r=0.080 and for HDL with vessel disease, the value of p=0.991 and r=0.001 was obtained so that there was no significant relationship and the closeness of the relationship was very weak. The results of the bivariate analysis of the lipid ratio showed that the value of p=0.035 and r=0.106 for TC/ HDL with vessel disease and the value of p= 0.034 and r=0.104 for TG/ HDL with vessel disease so that there is a significant relationship with the closeness of the relationship is very weak, whereas LDL / HDL with vessel disease obtained values of p=0.100 and r=0.081 so there is no significant relationship with the closeness of the relationship is very weak. Keywords: profile lipid, ratio TC/HDL, ratio TG/HDL, ratio LDL/HDL, vessel disease
