FAKULTAS KESEHATAN MASYARAKAT UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS Skripsi, 17 Juli 2020 CIKA AFRILIA, No. BP. 1611221007 HUBUNGAN SARAPAN PAGI, STATUS GIZI DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DENGAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA-SISWI SMPN 26 TAHUN 2019 xi + 80 halaman, 24 tabel, 2 gambar, 8 lampiran ABSTRAK Tujuan Penelitian Pretasi belajar merupakan indikator dalam bidang pendidikan untuk meningkatkan indeks pembangunan manusia. Ada banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan sarapan pagi, status gizi, dan motivasi belajar dengan prestasi belajar siswa-siswi kelas VIII SMPN 26 Padang Tahun 2019. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMPN 26 Padang sebanyak 250 orang dengan jumlah sampel 78 responden menggunakan teknik Simple Random Sampling. Pengumpulan data berupa pengisian kuesioner, formulir food record, pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, serta dokumentasi rata-rata nilai rapor. Pengolahan data meliputi editing, coding, entry, dan cleaning. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 52,1% responden dengan prestasi belajar baik, 70,4% frekuensi sarapan pagi sering, 52,1% asupan kalori sarapan kurang, 81,7% status gizi normal, dan 50,7% motivasi belajar rendah.Variabel yang berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar antara lain asupan kalori sarapan pagi (p=0,023; OR=3,435) dan motivasi belajar (p=0,043; OR= 3,012). Kesimpulan Asupan kalori sarapan pagi dan motivasi belajar berhubungan dengan prestasi belajar siswa-sisiwi kelas VIII SMPN 26 Padang. Diharapkan pihak sekolah untuk menambahkan materi pesan gizi seimbang untuk remaja, dorongan penuh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa dan melakukan monitoring status gizi siswa. Many factors affect learning achievement. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between breakfast, nutritional status, and learning motivation with the learning achievement of students of class VIII of SMP 26 Padang in 2019. Method This research uses quantitative methods with a cross-sectional approach. The population is all students of class VIII 26 Padang SMPN 26 students with a sample of 78 respondents using the Simple Random Sampling technique. Data collection consists of filling out questionnaires forms, food record forms, measurements of body weight and height, and then average report card grades. Data processing includes editing, coding, entry, and cleaning. Data analysis was using the Chi-square test. Result The results showed 52.1% of respondents with good learning achievement, 70.4% frequency of frequent breakfast, 52.1% deficiency calorie intake of breakfast, 81.7% normal nutritional status, and 50.7% low learning motivation. Variables related to learning achievement including calorie intake for breakfast (p = 0.023; OR = 3.435) and learning motivation (p = 0.043; OR = 3.012). Conclusion Calories intake of breakfast and learning motivation related learning achievement in class VIII SMPN 26 Padang. Expected to the school to add balanced nutrition message materials for teenagers, encourage full of motivation on student learning, and monitor student nutritional status.
