Abstract

THE EFFECTS OF FLEXIBLE WORKING AND HUMAN RESOURCE SUPPORT ON PRODUCTIVITY AND THEIR IMPLICATIONS FOR PERFORMANCE: EVIDENCE FROMBANK INDONESIA REPRESENTATIVE OFFICE OF WEST SUMATRA PROVINCE Thesis oleh Nurdiansyah Pembimbing 1 : Prof. Dr Vera Pujani, S.E., M.M. Tech Pembimbing 2 : Prof. Dr Harif Amali Rivai, S.E., M.Si ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationships between flexible working and HR support on productivity and their subsequent effects on performance. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed across all units and employees at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of West Sumatra Province, yielding 57 respondents. The data were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach with SmartPLS, covering the assessment of the measurement model (outer model), structural model (inner model), and hypothesis testing. The findings reveal that (1) HR support does not have a significant effect on productivity; (2) HR support has a positive and significant effect on performance; (3) flexible working has a positive and significant effect on performance; (4) flexible working has a positive and significant effect on performance; and (5) productivity has a positive and significant effect on performance. These results suggest that flexible work policies, such as adaptive working hours and hybrid arrangementsincluding training, seminars, workshops, and alternative working methodscan be sustained as post-pandemic management strategies to enhance employee performance. Tech Pembimbing 2 : Prof. Dr Harif Amali Rivai, S.E., M.Si ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk investigasi analisis hubungan flexible working, Human Resources Supportterhadap produktivitas serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar di seluruh unit dan karyawan di kantor perwakilan Bank Indonesia Provinsi Sumatera Baratsebanyak 57 responden. Metode analisis data menggunakan pendekatan Partial Least Square(PLS) dengan software SmartPLS mulai dari model pengukuran (outer model), model struktural (inner model), dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil temuan menunjukkan bahwa (1)Human Resources Supporttidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas; (2)Human Resources Supportberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja; (3)flexible working berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja; (4)flexible working berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja; (5)produktivitas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja. Kebijakan kerja fleksibel, seperti pengaturan jam kerja adaptif atau kebijakan hybrid seperti pelatihan, seminar, maupun workshop serta metode kerja alternatif, dapat dipertahankan sebagai strategi manajemen pascapandemi untuk meningkatkan kinerja.
