Abstract

Overweight’s prevalence is increasing and become a big problem in the world. Calorie intake, physical activity and genetic history are the universal risk factors of overweight in adolescents. The purpose of this study is to determine the relation between calory intake, physical activity and genetic history with incidence of overweight on students at Senior High School 1 Solok City. This research is an analytic study with cross sectional approach to the subject of research students in Senior High School 1 Solok City. The study was conducted on November 2015. The samples are 118 students were measured weight and height and interviewed by the Food Frequency Questionary (FFQ) to assess the intake of calories; Baecke index questionnaire to assess their physical activity; and asked about the overweight genetic history. This data then analyzed by using Chi Square test and considered significant if p <0,05. The prevalence of overweight was 25,4%, samples that have excess calory intake was 50%, samples with low phisical activity was 40,7% and the genetic history present in 41,5 % samples. Bivariat analyse result show there are significant correlation between calory intake (p=0,000), physical activity (p=0,039) and genetic history (p=0,000) with incidence of overweight. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is relation between calory intake, physical activity and genetic history with overweight. Asupan makanan, aktivitas fisik dan riwayat keluarga adalah faktor risiko universal pada remaja yang mengalami overweight. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan intake kalori dan aktivitas fisik pada siswa/i di SMA N 1 Kota Solok. Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa/i di SMA N 1 Kota Solok. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November 2015. Sampel diambil sebanyak 118 orang yang diukur berat badan dan tinggi badannya dan diwawancari dengan Food Frequency Quetionary (FFQ) untuk menilai intake kalorinya; kuesioner indeks Becke untuk menilai aktivitas fisiknya; dan ditanyakan tentang riwayat overweight pada keluarganya. Data ini kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dan dianggap bermakna bila nilai p<0,05. Hasil univariat didapatkan prevalensi overweight adalah 24,5%, sampel dengan intake kalori lebih sebanyak 50%, sampel dengan aktivitas fisik ringan sebanyak 40,7% dan sampel yang memiliki riwayat keluarga overweight sebanyak 41,5%. Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna anatara intake kalori (p=0,000), aktivitas fisik (p=0,039) dan riwayat keluarga (p=0,000) dengan kejadian overweight. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara intake kalori, aktivitas fisik, dan riwayat keluarga dengan overweight.
