Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate Watacrate, a skill training platform designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industry demands. The project utilises the Lean Startup methodology, integrating a Project-Based Learning (PBL) approach to enhance students' employability skills. Initial qualitative insights were gathered from interviews with 7 students, followed by landing page prototype testing with 8 students. Results showed the pilot program effectively improved skills like teamwork (4.29) and computer skills (4.00). The prototype received a highly positive user experience evaluation, with "Efficiency" and "Stimulation" rated "Very Good". This evidence led to the decision to 'Preserve' with the current model.
