Abstract

Pengaruh Job Stress dan Fatigue Terhadap Employee Performance Dengan Mediasi Job Satisfaction: Studi Pada Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Muaro Padang Tesis Oleh Afdhal Naufal Sofyan (2220522045) Pembimbing Dr. Rahmi Fahmy, SE, MBA dan Dr. Hendra Lukito, SE, MM ABSTRAK Kinerja karyawan merupakan faktor kunci dalam keberhasilan suatu organisasi, dimana dapat dipengaruhi oleh berbagai elemen psikologis dan lingkungan kerja. Stres kerja dan kelelahan sering kali menjadi penyebab utama yang mempengaruhi kinerja. Di sisi lain, kepuasan kerja berperan sebagai buffer yang dapat mengurangi dampak negatif dari stres dan kelelahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh job stress dan fatigue terhadap employee performance melalui job satisfaction, serta pengaruh job satisfaction terhadap employee. performance. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah Pegawai Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Muaro Padang. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling sehingga diperoleh 48 responden yaitu petugas penjagaan Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas IIA Muaro Padang. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan software SmartPLS 4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan job stress berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance dan job satisfaction, fatigue berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap employee performance dan job satisfaction, job satisfaction berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee performance, job satisfaction tidak memediasi hubungan fatigue dan employee performance, job satisfaction berperan sebagai mediator hubungan job stress dan employee performance. Job stress and fatigue are often the main causes that affect performance. On the other hand, job satisfaction acts as a buffer that can reduce the negative impact of stress and fatigue. This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress and fatigue on employee performance through job satisfaction, as well as the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance. The population in this study were Class IIA Padang Correctional Institution employees. The sampling technique used purposive sampling so that 48 respondents were obtained, namely the guard officers of the Class IIA Padang Correctional Institution. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. The results showed job stress has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction, fatigue has a negative but insignificant effect on employee performance and job satisfaction, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction does not mediate the relationship between fatigue and employee performance, job satisfaction acts as a mediator of the relationship between job stress and employee performance.
