Abstract

The Sioban (Simp. Logpon) – Katiet Road Handling Project is a road construction activity on the national road segment N.052 Sioban – Katiet, located in the Mentawai Islands Regency, specifically on Sipora Island, with a total length of 15.61 kilometers. This project is implemented under a multi-years contract for the 2022–2024 fiscal years, addressing a total length of 15.61 kilometers. This Technical Report aims to evaluate the implementation of the Sioban (Simp. Logpon) – Katiet Road Handling Project, assessing whether the project aligns with the plan in terms of time accuracy, cost efficiency, and adherence to the planned technical design. The analysis is conducted on the implementation and project outcomes based on the Budget Plan documents, project schedules, and final reports. The findings reveal significant deviations in terms of time, as project delays were caused by weather conditions beyond the control of the project executor. As a result, adjustments in planning were necessary to align with actual conditions at the time of project commencement. These constraints also led to the addition of payment items due to the emergence of new work items. However, overall actual costs remained unchanged due to budget limitations allocated for this project. These findings highlight the importance of improved risk management and supervision during project execution.
