Abstract

This study examines the impact of family support and internship programs on the self-efficacy of management students at Andalas University, especially students in the 2020 and 2021 batches. Self-efficacy, defined as an individual's belief in their ability to succeed, plays an important role in career readiness. Using an exploratory quantitative method approach with an online survey technique, the sampling used was a convenience sampling technique so that a sample of 113 final year students was obtained. to collect data from students regarding their experiences with family support and internships. Data analysis used SmartPLS 4. The results showed that strong family support significantly increased students' self-efficacy by providing emotional support and resources. In addition, participation in an internship program was shown to strengthen self-efficacy through practical experience and skill development. This study concludes with recommendations for educational institutions to encourage family involvement and increase internship offerings to better equip students for a successful transition to the workforce.
