Abstract

Masa pubertas merupakan masa fase transisisi dari kanak-kanak menuju dewasa, pada wanita ditandai datangnya haid pertama (menarche). Pengetahuan remaja putri yang kurang mengenal tubuhnya serta proses reproduksi yang sedang dialaminya mengira datangnya haid pertama kali (menarche) membuat sikap sebagian remaja putri, menjadi cemas, takut dan malu . Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswi sekolah dasar dalam menghadapi menarche di Kota Padang Tahun 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain Pre Eksperiment dengan One Group Pretest-Postests Without Control. Penelitian dilakukan di SD Negeri 23 Marapalam Kecamatan Padang Timur. Sampel penelitian siswi kelas IV dengan teknik purposive sampling, berjumlah 30 orang. Data diperoleh secara langsung menggunakan kuesioner data dianalisis menggunakan uji univariat dan bivariat. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa rerata pengetahuan sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan adalah 5.07 dan sesudah adalah 7,57. Rerata sikap hasil sebelum dilakukan pendidikan kesehatan adalah 26.00 dan sesudah adalah 29.50. Uji statistik T-test menunjukkan kemaknaan pengetahuan p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05), sikap p-value = 0,000 (p<0,05). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap siswi sekolah dasar dalam menghadapi menarche. Diharapkan adanya pendidikan kesehatan terhadap pengetahuan dan sikap melalui kegiatan usaha kesehatan sekolah dapat meningkatkan kesiapan siswi dalam menghadapi menarche. Knowledge of young women who are not familiar with their bodies and the reproductive process they are experiencing thinks that the arrival of menarche makes the attitude of some young women, anxious, afraid and ashamed. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of health education on the knowledge and attitudes of elementary school students in dealing with menarche in Padang City in 2019. This study used the Pre Experiment design with One Group Pretest-Postests Without Control. The study was conducted at SD Negeri 23 Marapalam, East Padang Subdistrict. The sample was a fourth grade student with a purposive sampling technique, totaling 30 people. Data obtained directly using questionnaires data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate tests. The results showed that the mean knowledge before health education was 5.07 and after that was 7.57. The average attitudinal attitude before health education is 26.00 and after is 29.50. The T-test statistic test shows the significance of knowledge p-value = 0,000 (p <0.05), attitude p-value = 0,000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is an effect of the provision of health education on the knowledge and attitudes of elementary school students in dealing with menarche. It is expected that health education on knowledge and attitudes through School Health Business activities can improve student readiness in the face of menarche.
