Abstract

This study investigates and identifies the effects of theory of planned behavior with modified the model by considering entrepreneurship variable toward entrepreneurial intention in Indonesia and Australia. The data gathered from a survey of 336 universities students in Indonesia and Australia. The model was estimated using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and this research data is in the form of primary data sourced from the questionnaire by using census technique. The results of this study indicate that personal attitude and perceived behavioral control toward entrepreneurship have a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial intention in Indonesia and Australia. On the other hand, subjective norm and entrepreneurship education have no significant effect with entrepreneurial intention in Indonesia and Australia. This research also found subjective norm has a positive and significant influence on personal attitude and perceived behavioral control. Managerial implications, limitations and directions for future research are provided in the study.
