Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to empirically examine and analyze the influence of perceptions, motivations, and knowledge of sharia accounting on career interests in sharia financial institutions. The object of this research was students from Andalas University Department of Accounting with the criteria have been taking sharia accounting courses. The data used are primary data in the form of questionnaires distributed to respondents. The sample method is done by incidental sampling, respondents in this study amounted to 60 students. Dana analysis method used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The result of the study show that perceptions and motivations have an affect the interest of a career in sharia financial institutions. Knowledge of sharia accounting does not affect the interest of a career in sharia financial institutions.
