FAKULTAS KEPERAWATAN UNIVERSITAS ANDALAS SEPTEMBER 2018 Nama : Uci Ramadhani Anwar BP : 1411312008 Faktor- Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Perawatan Diri Lansia Di Posdaya Sumanik Sehat Nagari Sumanik Kec. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar 2018 ABSTRAK Lanjut usia (lansia) merupakan manusia dengan kelompok umur yang telah memasuki fase kehidupan pada tahapan akhir. Seseorang yang berusia lebih tua, tingkat pendidikan rendah, tinggal sendiri atau tanpa pasangan dan rendahnya dalam situasi keuangan dapat menyebabkan kemampuan perawatan diri menurun. Menurunnya kemampuan perawatan diri dapat mengakibatkan berbagai macam penyakit seperti penyakit kulit pada lansia, yang juga dapat megakibatkan menurunya kualitas hidup pada lansia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat faktor- facktor yang berhubungan dengan perawatan diri lansia di Posdaya Sumanik Sehat Nagari Sumanik Kec. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar Sumatera Barat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan pendekatan Cross Sectional Study. Penelitian dilakukan tanggal 15 Juli 2018 sampai 20 Juli 2018. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah lansia yang tergabung ke dalam Posdaya Sumanik Sehat dengan umur 60-74 tahun yang berjumlah 69 orang diambil secara random sampling. Data diolah dan dianalisa dengan table distribusi frekuensi kemudian diuji dengan chi square. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa perawatan diri yang baik (52%) dan perawatan diri yang buruk (47,8%). Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara umur dengan perawatan diri lansia (p = 0,008), terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara status sosio ekonomi dan pendidikan dengan perawatan diri lansia (p = 0,003), dan terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara status perkawinan diri lansia ( p = 0,030). Diharapkan adanya pengembangan program keperawatan terapeutik yang mempertimbangkan karakteristik fisik, status sosial ekonomi, pendidikan, dan status perkawinan pada lansia. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar in 2018 ABSTRACT Elderly are humans with age groups who have entered the final stage of their phase of life. Someone who is older, has a low level of education, lives alone or without a partner and low level of financial situation can decrease their self-care abilities. The decreasing of self-care ability can lead to various diseases such as elderly's skin diseases, which can also lead to a decrease of the elderly's quality of life. This study aims to look at the factors related to elderly self-care in Posdaya Sumanik Sehat Nagari Sumanik Kec. Salimpaung Kabupaten Tanah Datar, West Sumatra. The type of the research is correlation research using the Cross Sectional Study approach. The research is conducted on July 15 until July 20, 2018. The samples in this study were elderly who joined the Posdaya Sumanik Sehat aged 60-74 years, totaling 69 people taken by random sampling. Data is processed and analyzed by using a frequency distribution table, and then it tested with chi square. The results showed that there are 52% good self-care and 47.8% poor self-care in this sampling. There is a significant relationship between age with elderly’s self-care (p = 0.008), a significant relationship between socio-economic status and education with elderly’s self-care (p = 0.003), and a significant relationship between the elderly's marital status (p = 0.030). It is expected to develop a therapeutic nursing program that considers physical characteristics, socio-economic status, education, and marital status in the elderly.
